Basque Language Introduction

Basque (Euskara, [eus̺ˈkaɾa]) is the ancestral language of the Basque people, who inhabit the Basque Country, a region spanning an area in northeastern Spain and southwestern France. The vast majority of Basques live in Spain with only a small minority in France.
