HSK Intermediate - Reading Passage Exercise #1

Last week we brought you our first HSK reading exercise at the beginner level. This week we're pleased to present a similar HSK test for Intermediate students. Simply read the text provided and answer the questions that follow. The challenge here is the length of the reading passages coupled with the lack of time given. You have only 15 minutes to complete this section on a real exam.

HSK Tip No. 67: if you're getting bogged down in the reading section, skim the questions before you read the texts provided. This will help you identify the key passages and focus only on what is being asked.
