HelloTalk Free Social Language Exchange App Evolves new Features
A few months ago, I wrote about HelloTalk, a (then) up-and-coming app for learning languages via social exchange.
The freshly updated free HelloTalk language exchange app now has millions of users, and features have been added to improve the language exchange and education flow offered.
As a reminder, the idea behind this app (Android + iOS) is to provide a mobile environment for easy language exchange in over eighty languages. User simply launch the app and can immediately meet other users around the world who speak the language you want to learn and who, in turn, want to learn the language you speak natively.
New Features for HelloTalk
Since the last time we wrote, the app has been launched for Android OS as well as iOS. Now Android users can join the fun!
Additionally, users can now tap any message for instant translation into 80+ languages. Furthermore, you can tap to instantly use text to speech, transliteration and voice to text features for these 80+ languages.
It's also now possible to mark favorite text, voice, or voice with text messages for language study.
All in all, these functions take the learning and exchange aspects of the app to a new level.
