Current Events & Culture Reading Material in many Languages

Global Voices is a worldwide community with independent news in many languages, all available for free. This community was started in order to open people's doors and expand horizons through access to multilingual news from international volunteers and part-time editors from countries all over the globe.

Each language represented has volunteer translators as part of Global Voice's Lingua project. This means that a given article in a given language may be translated into many other languages, providing both the original source language and the translations for language learners to work with in their studies.
